Abstract
The title compounds, involving all chalcogen heterocycles for the anthracene series and the sulfur and selenium heterocycles for the napthacene series, formed a series of highly conductive charge-transfer complexes with typical electron acceptors such as TCNQ, DMTCNQ, TNAP, and DBBS.
