Abstract

Discovery of temperature-dependent phenomena of muon-catalyzed fusion in solid deuterium and tritium mixtures was analyzed. With decreasing temperature, muon cycling rate decreased and muon loss probability increased. The observed temperature-dependent phenomena were considered not to be affected by the density dependence.
