N2 - A ground-based synthetic aperture radar(GBSAR) interferometer is used to monitor the stability of a post-landslide at Aratozawa, Miyagi, Japan since June 1st, 2012. Starting from the radar acquisitions, by applying different processing tools aimed at phase unwrapping and atmospheric effects compensation, maps of displacements are finally obtained. An in-depth analysis of the sequence of GB-SAR images acquired at December 2012 and May 2013 enables the recognition of debris slipped off to bottom slope in the scene. Results show that GB-SAR can be one of promising tools that can be used for early detection of further landslide events.
