THE ORDER OF OXIDATION OF SILICON, PHOSPHORUS, VANADIUM, MANGANESE AND CHROMIUM IS DISCUSSED. THE RESULTS GIVE THE OPTIMUM SLAG COMPOSITIONS FOR HIGH VANADIUM RECOVERY.
