title = "Dual-wavelength laser irradiation through hollow optical fiber for hard tissue ablation",
abstract = "Laser ablation experiments on hard tissues are performed by guiding combined beam of Ho:YAG and Er:YAG laser light with a hollow optical fiber. An alumina ball is used as a hard-tissue model and ablation phenomenon are observed by an ultra-high-speed camera. The result show that the two laser light give dissimilar ablation effects due to different absorption coefficients in water contained in the tissues. When the two lasers are combined and irradiate on the model, a high ablation rate is observed..",
