Abstract

Dynamic analysis of interior permanent magnet (IPM) motor based on a magnetic circuit model was presented. The dynamic characteristics of the IPM motor when the motor operates as a synchronous motor by the 3-phase ac voltage source were calculated. The inductance of stator winding and flux passing through the stator pole were calculated using finite element method.
