Abstract

Dynamic correlation functions of the one-dimensional Kondo lattice model are calculated by the finite-T DMRG method. Dynamic spin and charge correlations, S(ω) and N(ω), and quasiparticle density of states ρ(ω) are calculated in the metallic phase for various temperatures and hole densities. Near half-filling, pseudogap grows in S(ω), N(ω) and ρ(ω) below the crossover temperature characterized by the spin gap at half-filling. A sharp peak evolves at ω = 0 at low temperatures in S(ω and N(ω). This may be the evidence of the formation of collective excitations of a Tomonaga-Luttinger liquid in the low-temperature limit.
