N2 - We investigate the effect of f-electron band dispersion on the renormalized gap in a periodic Anderson model in infinite dimensions by employing the dynamical mean field theory and the numerical renormalization group method. When the non-interacting DOS of f-electron has a complete-gap, pseudo-gap and gap-less structure, respectively, in the electron-hole symmetric case, an interacting DOS at low energies has the same structure which is renormalized by the electron correlation. The degree of renormalization is almost constant for the case having the complete gap, however, the renormalization in the pseudo-gap regime becomes stronger with increasing the dispersion of f-electron. For a weak electron-hole asymmetric case, nf to approximately 0.9, a peak structure in PES region is nearly the same as that for symmetric case, but a peak in BIS region becomes broad.
