Abstract

The softening and melting-dripping properties of burdens were obtained by the simulating the heating condition of different intensity of blast furnace. The results showed that the softening temperature decreased and the softening-dripping interval temperature increased with increasing blast furnace intensity. While the maximum pressure drop did not increase significantly and the decreasing of the S value was observed because of the increased melting temperature and decreased melting-dripping interval temperature. Compared to the enriched oxygen with reduced blast, the maximum pressure drop under the enriched oxygen with invariable blast increased a little, however, the softening temperature decreased slightly, the softening-dripping interval temperature increased slightly and FeO content of the dripping was low.
