Electrical resistivity and GHz permeabiliy of (CoFeB)-(SiO1.9) hetero-amorphous granular films

Abstract

The electrical resistivity and GHz permittivity of (Co35Fe 52B13)76-(SiO1.9 )24 hetero-amorphous granular films were investigated. Experimental evidences for the very large critical thickness of the films that made eddy current loss practically negligible in the GHz range were provided. The (CoFeB)-(SiO 1.9) films exhibited high resistivity of over 10,000 νωcm with a large uniaxial anisotropy field of 340-410 Oe.
