Abstract

We developed a microstrip coil array with diode switch circuits using multilayer printed wiring board. Electromagnetic noise maps were obtained by the coil array. Its advantages are its broadband sensitivity and reduced noise measurement time compared with conventional closed field probes. We took account of impedance matching throughout the coils and lead wiring, sensitivity calibration between coils and cross talk between neighboring coils in the design.
