Abstract

A desing of in inductively coupled coil for transcutaneous energy transmission in the wide range of electrical power from 1 mW to 20 W is described. The implantable coils with the amorphous wires have features such as: thin and flexible shape, low temperature rise of 3 degree in the case of the transmission of 20 watts. The coils were applied for artificial heart system and functional electrical stimulation system.
