Abstract
The catalytic performance of Ba-doped Ir/WO3-SiO2 for the selective reduction of NO with CO in an oxidizing atmosphere was investigated. The NO reduction activity and durability of the Ir/WO 3-SiO2 catalyst were drastically improved by the addition of Ba. Ba played an important role to stabilize the catalytically active Ir-WOx (x < 3) sites of Ir/WO3-SiO2 during the reaction.
