Abstract
The interchain exchange integral J′ along the b-axis of the spin-Peierls system CuGeO3 is estimated by analyzing the exchange splitting of EPR spectra observed at T = 300 K under ultra-high magnetic fields up to 100 T. The evaluated magnitude of J′ (∼ 0.4 meV) is smaller than that estimated from the inelastic neutron scattering measurements.
