Abstract

Asaoka et al. (2002) proposed an elasto-plastic constitutive model, the SYS Cam-clay model, based on the soil skeleton structure concept as a constitutive equation which can reproduce the mechanical behavior of naturally deposited clays. This paper expanded the model to describe the mechanical behavior of cement-treated soils based on element experiments and demonstrated high reproduction capability of the proposed model.
