Abstract

In this paper we propose an extension of cooperation protocol to improve the flexibility in terms of the QoS control in our flexible videoconference system. In our proposal, the cooperation protocol used by the flexible videoconference system is extended in the following points: (1) introduction of a cooperation states, (2) extension of performatives, (3) addition of compromise levels to define the agents status during the cooperation. We embedded the proposed protocol to the former flexible videoconference system and we evaluated the behavior of the system. According to the experiments on this prototype system, we confirmed that the flexibility of the system is improved.
