Abstract

A novel flexible ferroelectric liquid crystal display (FLCD) panel driven by poly-Si TFTs has been developed. A 5.1-inch diagonal active matrix panel with 128×72 pixels was fabricated using polymer stabilized FLC and poly-Si TFTs formed directly onto plastic substrate. Color moving images were demonstrated on the field-sequential-color display panel.
