Abstract

In this paper, a magnetic actuator composed of a magnet and a spiral structure could move wirelessly in phantom of silicone tube by applying a rotational magnetic field. The actuator needs neither battery nor wire for power supply. In addition, the possibility of the breakdown of the actuator is very weak because of its simple structure. The actuator has great potential for wireless operation of the capsule endoscope.
