Abstract
SMA/CFRP smart composites are attracting much attention recently. In the previous method, however, inconvenient fixture jigs had to be used during the fabrication process to keep the wire in martensitic state, which restricts the shape and size of the smart composites. Recently a new method has been developed, which does not need such fixture jigs. It is presented in the present paper.
