Fast numerical calculation for crack modeling in eddy current testing of ferromagnetic materials

Abstract

A fast analysis method was developed for solving the eddy current testing (ECT) of ferromagnetic materials. The governing equations of a fast analysis method of ferromagnetic materials in ECT using a precomputed database were shown. The fast forward simulator presented was found to be about 80 times faster than a conventional one with the same computational accuracy.
