Abstract
FDG PET was performed on a 73-year-old woman as a follow-up examination after chemoradiotherapy for esophageal cancer. Increased uptake was noted in the left inguinal region, suggesting a metastatic lymph node. PET/CT revealed that the precise location of the hot spot was in the left obturator foramen. Previous FDG PET had shown the continuity of the bladder uptake to the left obturator foramen, suggesting obturator herniation of the bladder.
