Abstract

Systematic study of Fermi surfaces for LaX (X = S, Se, Te) was carried out by the de Haas-van Alphen effect measurements. Observed fermi surfaces have nearly ellipsoidal shape and are located at the X points of the Brilluoin zone. The cyclotron effective masses were estimated as about 1m0.
