Abstract
Ferromagnetic resonance at 35 GHz was studied in 200-Å-thick single-crystal α + ′-martensite Fe90N10 (001) films grown on (001) GaAs substrates. From the resonance fields in both (001) basal and (100) vertical planes and the saturation magnetization (4πM) value of 23.0 kG, a large uniaxial anisotropy (Ku) along the [001] axis of 6.36 × 106 erg/cm3, a cubic anisotropy (K1) of 2.2 × 105 erg/cm3 and the gyromagnetic ratio (g-value) of 2.07 have been determined.
