Abstract
Flame interference effects on flame length and soot limit were investigated using a couple of laminar diffusion flames formed in a coflow system, and it was revealed that in the interfering flames the flame length variation with fuel velocity was not as simple as the isolated non-interfering flame, also the soot suppression was stronger under some conditions.
