Abstract

We have developed the flexible LCDs with small radius of curvature by using nano-phase-separated LC for sheet-type display applications. By controlling the viscoelasticity of LC materials, we successfully improved the bonding strength of two plastic substrates and suppressed the flow of LCs during the bending process.
