Abstract

Four new toxic glycosidie macrolides, polycavernoside A2, A3, B, and B2 which were involved in fatal human intoxication were isolated from the red alga Polycavernosa tsudai and structurally determined using 2D NMR techniques and fragmentation patterns of FABMS.
