Abstract

In this paper, the steady-state operating characteristics of the converter with resistive load are obtained graphically by considering the effect of varying the phase angle between the primary and secondary voltages on the parametric power transfer. The analytical results agree well with the experimental ones and can be applied to the design of a converter with excellent characteristics. Furthermore, the graphical method presented here is useful for analyzing other power converters such as a frequency changer and a dc-ac converter.
