Abstract

The nicotinium dihydrogenphosphate crystals were grown by the low temperature solution growth technique. The grown crystals were confirmed by the powder X-ray diffraction and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy studies. The optical properties were analyzed by the UV-visible and the photoluminescence studies. The mechanical hardness anisotropy of the nicotinium dihydrogenphosphate has been analyzed by the Vickers microhardness tester. The second harmonic generation in the nicotinium dihydrogenphosphate crystals was analyzed by the Kurtz-Perry powder technique. The dielectric properties of the nicotinium dihydrogenphosphate crystals were analyzed.
