He was the recipient of a Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) Canada Graduate Scholarship (CGS) Doctoral and the Best Paper Awards of the IEEE International Conference on Computer Communications and Networks (ICCCN 2009) and IEEE ICC {\textquoteright}07 Computer and Communications Security Symposium.",
