Abstract
The characteristics of the nonlinear viscous flow in Zr-based bulk metallic glass with its structural disordering effects were analyzed. The nonlinear viscous flow was influenced by the heating effect and the structural disordering. The incubation time for the ordering, which implied crystallization in the supercooled liquid, became shorter with the increase in the temperature. The behavior of viscosity remained consistent with the enthalpy evolution of the structural disordering. The stress-induced structural disordering caused the initial softening deformation.
