Abstract

If a fourth generation of quarks (a,v) exists, the cross section for production of the Higgs boson in association with the Z boson may be greatly enhanced. We evaluate the subprocesses gg†(vv»)†ZH, gg†Z*†ZH, and qq»†Z*†ZH and find a substantial Higgs-boson signal in pp collisions at s=40 TeV.
