Abstract

Recent advances in high-speed and high spectrally-efficient TDM transmission using coherent optical Nyquist pulses are described. 1.92 Tbit/s/ch, 64QAM-150 km transmission with a potential spectral efficiency of 10.6 bit/s/Hz is demonstrated by adopting orthogonal TDM.
