Abstract
The electronic structure of Kondo insulators containing polycrystalline materials was studied using photoemission spectroscopy. The hybridized nature of the pseudogap in the conduction-electron-derived electronic structure was examined. The size of pseodogap was found smaller than that of conduction electrons near the fermi level. The insulators were characterized by X-ray diffraction, electrical resistivity, magnetic susceptibility and specific heat measurements.
