Abstract
We report in situ cell surface modification for surface-enhanced Raman analysis of cell membrane. Our method can produce silver metals on cell membrane via the formation of complex of silver ions and membrane proteins, followed by reduction of silver ion. Formed silver metals generated surface-enhanced Raman signal and enabled the high-sensitive detection of Raman signal from the cell membrane. Thus, our method is expected to be applied for cell membrane analysis.
