Abstract
Real-time diffraction studies of phenomena occurring on a time scale of τt can only be effective if acquisition time τa≪τt. High energy, high intensity synchrotron light can reduce acquisition times by orders of magnitude. Here we report for the first time, the monitoring during cooling, of a PdCuNiP alloy from the liquid to the glassy state.
