Abstract

Shubnikov–de Haas (SdH) oscillations have been investigated for the organic superconductor (methylenedithio-tetraselenafulvalene) (formula presented) with an incommensurate anion structure. Many SdH oscillations successively appear with increasing magnetic field, some of which are attributed to the Fermi surface reconstructed by the incommensurate anion potential. The reconstruction occurs neither by the fundamental anion periodicity (formula presented) nor by (formula presented) but by (formula presented) The “selection rule” of the reconstructing vectors is associated with the magnitude of the incommensurate potential.
