N2 - In a numerical prediction using shoreline change model, the sediment transport coefficient, K, is calibrated through a comparison with measured data, although measured data contain both beach evolution caused by longshore and cross-shore sediment transports. Therefore, there is a high possibility that the value of K thus calibrated include some error due to cross-shore sediment movement. In this study, the sediment transport coefficient is examined by using measured raw data and separated shoreline representing shoreline evolution caused by longshore sediment transport.
