Abstract

We study the inhomogeneous superconducting state due to out-of-plane disorder in cuprates based on the t-t-J model with a realistic band structure using the Bogoliubov-de Gennes theory. The superexchange J is assumed to be modulated locally by the out-of-plane disorder. We find the d-density wave order is slightly induced, but antiferromagnetic order is not in the large J, that is, the wide gap region.
