N1 - Funding Information: All the participants worked hard on their own presen- tations and discussions in the group work. During the final session, each of the three groups presented a proposal based on what they had learnt through lectures, group discussions and field trips. At the closing session, each participant was awarded a certificate of completion for the workshop program. As faculty members, we believe that the workshop was overall as successful as the previous workshops in 2010 and 2014, not only for capacity building on the issues raised in the workshop among the participants but also for enhancing collaborations with Asian countries. At the end of closing session, announcement of the 22nd International Congress of Nutrition (ICN2021) to be held in Tokyo on September 14–19, 2021 was made by a co-author (Prof. Hisanori Kato, Chair, Organizing Committee of 22nd IUNS-ICN) (3).
