Abstract

Dilepton measurements are one of the most powerful tools for investigating the quark-gluon plasma formation in high-energy heavy-ion collisions. The NA60 experiment, taking place at the CERN SPS, studies the production of prompt dimuons and open charm in collisions induced by proton and heavy-ion beams on nuclear targets. In this paper, some preliminary results from the indium-indium dataset are presented.
