Abstract

The authors focus on the high-speed switching performance of the 1-KW class of power static induction transistors (SITs). A very low harmonics distortion, high efficiency and high carrier-wave frequency sinusoidal PWM inverter for the 1-KW class of the uninterruptible power supply (UPS) is developed. It is applied to computer systems and the results are discussed.
