N2 - We systematically investigate the macroscopic quantum effects of antiferromagnetic particles for three different forms of the magnetic anisotropy and the external magnetic field employing the method of two sublattices. The tunneling rates are obtained in each case with the help of the instanton method. The effect of the topological term is also studied.
