N2 - The 161Dy Mössbauer effect in DyMn2(Si0.1Ge0.9)2 has been measured at temperatures between 4.2 and 42.2 K. The magnetic behavior of the compound bears some resemblance to that of DyMn2Ge2, that is, the compound exhibits three magnetic transitions at TN = 448 K, T1 = 26.0 K and T2 = 35.0 K. The magnitude and the temperature dependency of hyperfine parameters have deduced the conclusion that the magnetic structure is canted-ferrimagnetic below T1 while that of DyMn2Ge2 is collinear-ferri-magnetic. The magnetic structure between T1 and T2 is a collinear-ferrimagnetic one with a long-periodic arrangement which is just the same with that observed in DyMn2Ge2.
