Abstract

The materials used for Solid Oxide Fuel Cells (SOFC) are reviewed. Thermodynamic calculations are applied to study the stability and compatibility of the materials. Mass transport through the materials and electrochemical reaction at the interfaces are reviewed in terms of solid state electrochemistry.
