N2 - We study the single-shot response of magnetic tunnel junctions induced by spin transfer torque, using ultra-short pulse measurement. After the pulse is applied, the switching proceeded by ns-scale incubation delay, followed by 400 ps transition, terminated by a ringing with the frequency of 1.4 GHz. While, the incubation delay has large distribution, the other resistance traces are reproducible.
