N2 - We present the results of AC susceptibility, field-cooled and zero-field-cooled DC magnetization and magnetic relaxation measurements on an as-cast polycrystalline CePdAl sample. Irreversible magnetism, long-time magnetic relaxation effect and evident up-shift of the AC susceptibility peak with increasing frequency are observed at low temperatures. The mechanism of these "spin-glass-like" metastable magnetic behaviors is discussed.
