Abstract

After the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake, the affected area had been reconstructed the coast levee to prevent the tsunami. However it's also hardly to check the situation at coastal area from safety area who is remain or not. If someone needs to search the remaining persons directly, he will have to take the risk to be caught in the tsunami. To avoid these situation, the authors suggest to introduce the tsunami evacuation patrol used by UAVs at the reconstructed area. It is possible to reduce the risk affected by tsunami and decreasing dead angle zone made by coast levee.
