Abstract

We realized high-speed and safe extraction of gamma-emitting actinides and lanthanides (Am-241, Cm-243, Eu-152) in a hydrophilic-hydrophobic patterning Y-shaped microchannel on a quartz substrate. This method is applicable to the nuclear waste management.
