The phenomenon of decrystallization which occurs in some oxides and semi-conductors, in which XRD peak intensities are greatly reduced has been reported. This study revealed that the decrystallization of Fe3O4 is not only occurred in surface but also inside the specimen. However it is also found that the crystal Fe3O4 and FeO coexist with the decrystallized Fe3O4 inside the specimen. It was also found that the soft magnetic property of the microwave heated specimen is superior to that of the electric furnace heated.
