Abstract

Polymer-protected metallic magnetic nanoparticles were prepared by the thermal decomposition of metallic carbonyl coexisting chain-polymers. The microwave absorption properties of these nanoparticles were also investigated. The XRD and TEM observations revealed the microstructure of nanoparticles. The results showed that polymer-protected cobalt nanoparticles can be used as a microwave absorption materials.
